From time to time, I’ll check out new fragrances — as my good friend Gemma says, “life is simply too quick for a signature scent; I need to scent like as many stunning issues as I can” — and so they’re all the time good. However just lately I’ve tried one which’s blowing me away. I can’t cease sniffing my wrists, and Alex retains pulling me into kisses within the kitchen. The horny scent? Lake & Skye’s Saffron Nightfall. “Darkish florals, spicy woods and a musky cool” is the outline. Love love love. (You may get an $8 one, too!)

I simply tore via Laura Chinn’s memoir Zits about her wild childhood in Florida. Her divorced mother and father struggled with poverty and habit, her massive brother went blind from a mind tumor, and he or she lived alone and raised herself for months at a time. (She began ingesting and smoking when she was 11.) To prime it off, she had very aggressive pimples. From the jacket copy, I anticipated the ebook to be 100% heart-wrenching — however, whereas some elements are clearly devastating, Chinn’s hilarious, hopeful and gritty persona shines proper via. As she says herself, ultimately, “it isn’t a tragic story.”
