MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has launched a complete of 1,996 unpaid and deserted “balikbayan” packing containers that have been meant to be forwarded to recipients since July.
Of the determine, 1,667 have been delivered whereas 329 have been picked up by consignees at designated warehouses, the BOC mentioned in a press release Wednesday.
However 30 packing containers stay with the BOC attributable to incomplete data, non-confirmation, or non-response from recipients or senders.
