COA questions LTO for ‘undue cost’ of IT contractor




MANILA, Philippines — The Fee on Audit (COA) has flagged the Land Transportation Workplace (LTO) for the “undue cost” given to its overseas info expertise (IT) contractor, Dermalog, regardless of the unfinished turnover of deliverables for the P3.19-billion Street IT Infrastructure challenge.

In its 2021 Consolidated Annual Audit Report (CAAR) for the Division of Transportation (DOTr), the COA stated that LTO’s “acceptance of personalized core functions with lacking processes had triggered undue cost to the seller, which is disadvantageous to the federal government.”
