LEGAZPI CITY — A minimum of 128 folks have been evacuated, whereas lessons in private and non-private colleges have been suspended on Thursday (Jan. 5) because of the threats of flooding and landslides attributable to heavy rains within the Bicol area.
Gremil Alexis Naz, Workplace of Civil Protection (OCD) Bicol spokesperson, stated the displaced residents belonging to 40 households have been evacuated from the flooded villages in Calabanga and Tinambac cities in Camarines Sur.
Naz stated 23 areas have been flooded in Albay, Camarines Sur, and Sorsogon provinces on account of steady rains that began on Wednesday.
