WASHINGTON — Former New York Metropolis police officer Thomas Webster, who assaulted police within the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol, was sentenced on Thursday to 10 years in jail, the longest sentence but handed down in a case associated to the assault.
