BRUSSELS — One police officer died and one other was injured in a stabbing assault in Brussels Thursday, which a Belgian judicial official stated was suspected to be terrorism-linked.
The suspected attacker was shot and “neutralized” after the stabbing, Belgian police stated.
“One in every of our patrols was attacked by a person armed with a knife,” police stated. “The 2 law enforcement officials then referred to as for reinforcements. An officer from one other patrol used his firearm to neutralize the attacker.”
