Centering artists with an embodied follow, New Works XR encourages new voices within the growth of augmented (AR), digital (VR), and combined actuality applied sciences. This yr’s program will assist a bunch of dance and motion based mostly artists serious about integrating prolonged actuality (XR) applied sciences into their present motion practices by workshops, mentorship, and residencies.
Supported by Mitacs and Emily Carr College of Artwork + Design, New Works XR is in partnership with New Media Gallery and a workforce of consulting artists and technologists working on the intersection of efficiency and XR applied sciences.
