The Junky’s Christmas: William S. Burrough’s Darkish Claymation Christmas Movie Produced by Francis Ford Coppola (1993)

Again in 1993, the Beat author William S. Burroughs wrote and narrated a 21 minute claymation Christmas movie. And, as you may effectively think about, it’s not your regular pleased Christmas flick. Nope, this movie – The Junky’s Christmas – is all about Danny the Carwiper, a junkie, who spends Christmas Day making an attempt to attain a repair. Ultimately he finds the Christmas spirit when he shares some morphine with a younger man affected by kidney stones, giving him the “immaculate repair.” There you’ve it. And, oh, did we point out that the movie was produced by Francis Ford Coppola?
