MEXICO CITY — Tropical Storm Frank continued weakening Monday nicely off Mexico’s Pacific coast after reaching hurricane energy over the weekend.
The U.S. Nationwide Hurricane Heart mentioned Frank’s most sustained winds had slowed to 45 mph (75 kph) by Monday evening. It was transferring northwest at 9 mph (15 kph). It was situated 630 miles (1,015 kilometers) southwest of Punta Eugenia, Mexico, and posed no risk to land.
