OSLO, Norway — A walrus nicknamed Freya that attracted crowds whereas basking within the solar of the Oslo fjord was euthanized, Norway officers stated on Sunday.
“The choice to euthanize was taken on the premise of a worldwide analysis of the persistent menace to human safety,” the top of Norway’s Fisheries Directorate Frank Bakke-Jensen stated in a press release.
